Neil Lennon was SENT-OFF during the Cypriot Cup final as his team tasted glory. The former Celtic boss was part of angry scenes with the match official before being issued with a red card. Lennon is then held back by his backroom team following the angry exchange. Omonia Nicosia went on to lift the Cypriot Cup and with that secure European football after penalty shootout win.
They were reduced to 10 men from the fourth minute of play and survived nearly 115 minutes of football to take home the domestic silverware. It adds to Lennon's impressive medal haul as a player and manager with Europa League football secured for next season. But the angry touchline scenes towards the end of the game could now overshadow his achievement.
